It's not like it looks THAT much different than the hatch. All you do is lose is functionality and upgradability. Or is it just to utilize the convertible's body style a bit more? ^ Different styles for different tastes. Ask someone to define a sport car and two-door coupe probably comes to mind (Skyline, G35). However, I think the lines of the liftback flow better, especially the C-pillar.
