Ian, If you intend to go through with a 2nd Gen swap I strongly recommend you try converting the harness yourself.. It would be nice to have another person to be successful doing a harness so when the next 2ng gen swapper asks you a question about wiring who dont have the cash to send to someone else.. you wont become dumbfounded and lost because you had someone else do your harness.

The more people with information the better and IMO it will be much better for this community in the long run.. and I stand by my statement that if I had a 2nd gen swap I wouldn't hesitate to do it myself. I would love to become the next "brain" of converting harnesses. A little heads up.. people with the "I can never do this" "too hard" mentality usually fail. I think the goal here should be to make swaps easier for the next person. So thats whats I think.. but do what ever is in your best interest.

well thats why im still gonna check it out....but if everything isnt there then i am gonna have alot of head aches. and right now there isnt a 3s harness so that makes it real hard..if it was a complete clip or it had everything i needed i would worry to much.... but like said before its only gonna cause head aches for me and for other ppl.. so we will see how it plays out

Well if you want to do the 5sgte, just take the head and harness. You don't need anything from the bottom end except for the rods. I just finished building my 5sgte on the alltrac.
