and what is nice is that my old wheels were heavy, and they were cast wheels - These are forged (SSR doesn't do cast wheels) and weigh in at a 15lbs w/o tire, so not only did I get rid of the stupid bling wheels, but also gained a bit from a performance standpoint. The fact that they look OEM is the icing on the cake.

Yeah I am, but not too active. I actually prefer mr2.com over mr2oc.com

Oh I didn't know about them. I guess I will check them out. I honestly don't like how MR2oc is set up much. Lots of things do not make sense to me on there, and it makes me really appreciate the mods/staff we have here. They do a damn good job of cleaning things up and keeping everything in respective order without too much blah blah on there, but just to be fair in a sense, we deal with one type of car here, where as they deal with 3 models... But still.

Is it still considered the Holidays? Because I got this now.

And yes, I realize she isn't in tip top... But that's what we do, right? We fix them up!

It runs like an N/A for some reason. I think there is a problem with the throttle because I can floor it instantly and it takes awhile to get up to speed... I dunno. I just know it is going to take some work.

LOL I bought two because I wanted the widebody over the regular one. However my regular one is way faster. So I am going fix on this widebody and see how I feel after I figure it out. Don't worry, I plan on keeping just 1 MR2 Turbo... I think... It's kinda nice to walk outside and see all 3 cars. But impractical, yes.

Strip widebody panels and transfer to turbo MR2. Sell ex-widebody MR2 for parts. Use profit from parts to fix/make the turbo MR2 better.

I can strip those widebody parts? I thought since they were fiber glassed and molded to the car that I wouldn't be able to. I really did want two MR2's one widebody and one without, since I like it without too and I think if I had a widebody, I wouldn't drive serious in it, afraid I might mess it up. But I do need to have just 1 for now, so that I can continue the Celica. I would really like to fix it on my own, but we will see.

I have no idea, the idea just popped into my head. Aftermarket front bumper on the new one?

Yeah, it is a whole TRD Widebody Kit. I wanted an MR2 Turbo with a c-one lip, and one with a TRD widebody. But if I had to keep just one, I want the widebody, it only it ran as strong and as hard as my other one. I dunno why my other one is so fast... From what I can see, it just has an intercooler and is boosting 15psi. The other one has an HKS Fuel cut defencer, but boosting low, and I think almost next to nothing. I am going to up it a bit (without a boost gauge, or I might wait to get one) and then see what happens. The engine runs nice and quiet, and you can hear the turbo spool, but not as much as the other one. So we will see.

just pick up an autometer boost gauge from autozone if you don't want to spend a lot. they're like $45 and will do. at least you could see what you're boosting to.

Really? I didn't know autozone had that kind of stuff. I thought they just carried cheap intakes, ricer emblems, and ugly seat covers with matching steering wheel covers.. LOL I guess it wouldn't hurt just to see what I am boosting to until I can get some good ones. I most certainly won't be rolling with the boost gauge in my car though. Just to set the boost and then that cheap equipment is outty! I can't have anyone see me rolling with some cheap autozone aftermarket part in my car. lol
