Convert my video format? I have .mov movies and they take forever to upload onto youtube and I am thinking it is the format. For some reason, they won't upload to Windows Movie Maker either, guessing due to the format. I never did this stuff before, my first time. Oh, and right now I am using Picasa to upload to youtube........ taking foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I got cable and 6gb of Ram...... I don't think it should be taking this long.

There are a couple of .mov converter's on download.com I didn't test any of them (because I never use .mov formats) but look at the reviews and I'm sure you will find a usable one.

Reason why your mov files take forever is due to their compression. It would take you equal amount of time to convert from mov to another format. You can convert to avi from quicktime (not sure if you need pro edition.) I usually convert my mov scuba clips into mpeg2 for dvds and that takes like an hour for about hour worth of clip. Reason why your videos are taking forever to load to youtube is because of your connection. You are either using a slow connection or losing packets along the way.
My cat videos that I load daily usually take 15 mins to load for a 6 min video. Also youtube limits your upload bandwidth so it does not crash their servers. -------------------- Captain Pessimist
