Sup folks? Just had a quick question. It's kind of an old topic that has been talked about before, but i can't seem to find that post so I'll just ask here.
Long story short; got a 5sfe celica that i need to readjust the speedo needle on. I tried setting it by RPM, as close to as i could remember, but whenever i blow by one of those police speedometer thingies on the side of the road, they clock me as being off by as much as 10mph. I suppose thats not a bad thing considering i have a lead foot anyway, and i know it will never be spot on, but what rpm are you guys running at at 65mph and so on? its a manual tranny. i noticed the discrepency after switching to ngk platinum plugs. currently it shows 3.5k at something like 80-85mph which i know is way off. only mod is short ram if that helps. thanks. |
