Well I finally got around to building turbo pipes. that all went fairly smooth. It was tough trying to figure out the routing, i didnt want to go over the head like most FMIC setups. So i clocked the turbo down and went the way i did.
So on the dyno, I ran into the same issue that the Scion is running into with the AEM FIC. We were hitting a block at 4000 RPM,s the car would just shut off. After a quick run to Radio Shack, picked up some 1K ohm resistors and fixed the problem. ill post pics of that later if wanted. The AEM FIC is a good unit and it works well. i need to go back and finish some fine tuning. im getting a lean condition at throttle tip in. So with that said and done, i made 176HP and 230lbs TQ at 6.5psi. im on the stock exhaust after the ebay downpipe so i really need to open that up. i plan on upping the boost to about 10psi.
