I have a Monster Patch Cable going from amp head to my amp cab. If it helps it's a 60-ish dollar cable.

Well my Monster cable recently crapped out and nearly killed my 2,000$ amp. This shocked me because it never even showed any sign of defect for the 4-5 years I've had it. It basically never moved from my amp because it was quite stationary between my head and cab and I never move my amp.

One day I turned it one and it just decided to not work, I don't know how. I didn't abuse it, I just used it for it's intended purpose and it stopped working recently. Well, I just need to know what I can do to get the warranty on this. Do I just call them up and they send me a new one?

Do I just go to an authorized dealer to get a new one? I don't have the receipt because really... who keeps a receipt for more then a year? How difficult is the process to get this warranty validated and so that I can get my new cable?

To answer further questions, yes my guitar and my cable's work and everything is wired correctly. If it's not my cable, then it may be my amp (god willing no) but I am 90% sure it is my patch cable. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. THANK YOU!
