if it's not sealed properly, it's easy for water to get through.
this is what happen to me

the driver's side (a-piller) side of the windshield was not sealed. I could push up on the inside and see it move outside smile.gif
water leaked in, dripped on the flasher relay and some of my chassis harnesses and BAM, bad things happened.
since I've replaced the burned harness, sealed the windscreen and things have been ok.

side note, when I unplugged the burned harness my wipers came on and wouldn't go off (along with a few other random things too)

that looks exactly like my junction block... i hope it is isolated just to that block... i've not noticed that the floor is pretty wet in that area... seems like water was the right culprit

Good thread. Joes car started to recently have a similar problem right after he got stuck in the snow a few weeks ago. All of his accessories stay on, even though the key is out of the car. I started pulling fuses, and pulling the wiper fuse made it stop (oddly enough). So it sounds like a similar problem!

yea this is the same exact thing thats happeneing to my car right now...when i pull the wiper fuse, everything works as normal, if i put it in, the ding noise starts like i have the keys in the ignition but i really dont, my handbrake light goes on, the wipers go on, and a few other things. im pretty clueless when it comes to wireing but im glad dustin said something about that leaking, im going to check that out when i get a chance but that more then likely sounds/looks like the problem...its weird this is poping up all over all of a sudden....
