so my headers are cracked and I will need to replace it soon. so i'm wondering what to do? should i go OEM or ebay?

i might go ebay because they don't look too bad and i've heard they were decent but i'm not sure if this is the right one?

ebay headers

It says it has one O2 sensor hole. Is that what I want??? if not, can someone post a link to the correct one?

Sorry to excite you if you see someone responded.
But I have been interested in the same headers for a while now. But (I dont know your state inspection points) when I asked if it eliminated the cat, they said yes. I cant get rid of my cat in NY, I wanna know if this can be installed along with my stock cat?
thanks-

The ebay header is worth the cash. It has 2 holes for o2 sensor. You can plug the second bung and do the non fouler trick for the 2nd o2 censor. The stock gt has 2 cat's. One in the exhaust manifold and the other one is after the down pipe. This should be the same with your st.

Ohh! ok, i didnt know there was a cat in the before the down pipe! Do you have to weld the header at all? Or is it possible to do it without? thanks alot!

I had it out for my new 7a. Is it a power difference? or at least a noise difference?! smile.gif

With my gt i felt a power difference. It's not like boosting ur car though. I have a sri, header, and stock exhaust. The sri was loud by itself, but when i added the header it was even louder. Car sounds mean now. Yes is it a pain in the a$$ to get those damn bolts off. The worst ones for me where the 3 on the down pipe. Had to use a impact to get those loose. Make sure u use pb blaster to loosen everything up.

the ebay header has two holes, one has it for the o2 sensor as you can see by the shape, the second hole is more like a bolt type.

What about headers for the gt? (2.2l?) I really can't seem to find any, and I've been looking for a while now.

The 2.2L GT has 2 sensor holes while the 1.8 ST has only 1. As the GT header is 4-1 style and the ST a 4-2-1 style. Hopefully that'll clear up any confusion. (thats how i ended up with an extra header. biggrin.gif ) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Toyota-Celi...sQ5fAccessories This is where i bought mine from and i didn't have any issues with the header itself.
