 mystery wire connectors?, inside door panel? 94 ST |

So I was wiring up my 5th gen mirrors, and notice on both sides there was a "connector" directly next to the mirror wire connector
Drivers side- Pink and purple wire Passengers side- Light green and blue wire Both sides go to a connector, but nothing is connected to it. Like I can see the "prongs" on the inside of the connector, as if you disconnected the mirror connector. Is there something that is supposed to be connected to this? Just curious, it hasnt been a problem or anything, just wondering thanks!
