1997 TOYOTA CELICA 1.8 LITRE ........MY QUESTION IS WHY WONT THIS CAR START ON ITS OWN??? IV'E REPLACED EVRY SENSOR YOU CAN THINK OF..IT WILL START WITH A PUSH FROM ANOTHER VEHICLE BUT RUNS LOUSEY BURNS RICH AND MIS-FIRES CODE# ARE AS FOLLOWS... P0301 cylinder 1 misfire detected 2x....p0401 egr flow insuffecient detected 2x..... ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!

sounds like your egr is heading out or it might be clogged

 COULD the catayltic converter be clogged?? A mechanic had mentioned this to me alsoQUOTE (Stambo @ Mar 28, 2010 - 1:04 PM)  sounds like your egr is heading out or it might be clogged |

when you say start with a push do you mean another car pushes yours as you pop the clutch out?

if its a push start not (jump start) then it would be your clutch switch.
