Yeah, without digging through wiring diagrams it would be hard to tell whether or not that fuse controls the some part of the system, or just the bulb. I would reckon that it controls some part of the system, because I highly doubt there would be a fuse for just one bulb. Just pull the bulb out, or take it to Toyota to see if they can check what's wrong with it for free.

Dang now i have this problem, but mine is a BEAMS ecu, im not sure the procedure will apply.

Ok I'm trying this on the beams, and what starts to blink is the check engine light, not the srs. So makes me wonder if the dlc of the beams is the same as a USDm car.....

It would be the interior wires (3 plugs). We re-pin the clutch start wire and the other wires are fine for making the car run and drive normally. You might have to re-pin the dlc wires, but first find out what wires on the 5s are for the dlc and beams harness, then re-pin.
The airbag (srs) has it's own ecu. I have one that's not been tampered (set off or light on), I can send it to you if you want. -------------------- |

Ain't the dlc in the engine bay? That port is the one I'm using. According to the repair manual. It has all those wires...
