my shifting is really rough and stiff.... third grinds at higher rpms....... what is wrong here?

worn out synchros. Try draining the gear lube and add something else. Try some redline mt-90

Penzoil Synchromesh is a favorite around here, too, and I'll vouch for it myself, I absolutely love it. Nice and smooth shifts.
