I dont know anything about that guy but word on the street is that most person to person transactions usually go a little something like this:

Day 1 initial communication and buyer rushes head first and pays for item
Day 7 seller usually gets around to packing the item for shipping but after taking it to the vendor shipping price is 9 times that of originally anticipated
Day 10 buyer usually starts wondering where is his/her item and tries to contact seller
Day 14 seller replies about being very busy and having grandmother over for a week and that he/she was involved in a space mission and was unavailable to check emails/call
Day 20 seller contacts buyer about shipping discrepancy
Day 30 buyer have gotten his item poorly packaged and in condition that differs from what was described and having added more money to fund shipping.

Now not every single transaction follows that suit but quite a few do so that is why people like myself never buy stuff from other people in the first place.

I know it sucks to buy things from some people anywhere online though. Ive been mostly lucky here (as far as the time goes) and have gotten all my things pretty quick. Even things shipped from overseas have landed here pretty quick. But if im buying something I look at the feedback left about being a seller, as opposed to overall feedback. And on big purchases I ask for a tracking number. Hope you get your things.

it's just an unfortunate situation. sellers need to man up and get items ready to package and send before they even start listing things for sale!

Always the pessimist as usual, Yuri...or maybe a realist. laugh.gif But the man is right, you need to be careful about who you buy from.

Personally, I always look for good feedback like somebody else said, and I'd rather not buy from someone who tipes lyek dis becuz den i mite be discurgd 4rm trussing dem and i wuld deff. questun there maturty. Also, I look for people who can form sentences and not a single paragraph to describe whatever they're selling.

Having said that, I know celiquick did a part-out of most of his car...so give it another week. He's already sold quite a number of things, so chances are that he's just maybe forgotten your order. Doesn't make it right, but it would be a valid explanation.

Do keep in mind that just because you bought it on ebay does not mean that you will get your money back... especially if you used paypal.

I've PMed and emailed with him back and forth quite a bit over the last, maybe 6+ months or so, and have never gotten any sense whatsoever that he's shady. I'm also still waiting for some stuff I bought from him a few weeks ago, but I feel pretty comfortable and confident that it'll come through just fine. My guess is he's just been crazy busy or something. I know I've got some parts still that need to be shipped to people who bought some stuff from me, but I've been really busy with moving so I've been unusually delayed. It's not always the best answer, and I understand getting impatient, but sometimes stuff just happens, life just happens. He'll come through I think.
