I typically don't have a problem with it but when they do it on purpose over and over its annoying. Celica handled very well though in the rage driven situation laugh.gif

Today i managed to flush my cooling system and installed a fail safe thermostat. Turns out my thermostat was stuck open which explains why it took so long for my car to get to op temp.

Lol don't do that. Braze it. And if you can't braze, find someone that can. Its really easy, so easy I've seen a guy do it with a coat hanger and a propane torch to fix a hydraulic line on a tractor. Plus its cheap and doesn't require any special equipment.

Unless of course its a big whole...then JB weld it. laugh.gif

Today I experienced some massive under-steer for the first time in the Celica, then handled it like a boss. That being said I suddenly remember why I hate FWD so much. Meh, I'm thinking it's Lexus time. I'm tired of being beat to death on these **** poor excuses they call roads. That and my knees are acting up again after having done better. I'm torn though, I like the car... Hell I even had the A/C recharged today... I don't know. If it wasn't for the fact that the gas mileage on the SC400 sucked terribly, I'd say sure why not. But going from spending under $800 a year in gas to over $1,400 a year is terrible. I can think of so many things I'd rather spend the money on. Damned if I do, damned if I don't eh?

Today I discovered that I got 30MPG for an average on my last fill up. smile.gif Nothing like loving your GT a little bit more. Close to what I was getting in the Camry before she died from an assault with an Impala.

Yeah, I know... It's just frustrating... Things had gotten better, today was just a bad day though. I genuinely like the Celica, otherwise I'd have said to Hell with it a long time ago and sold it(I've had the chance more than once). I suppose you couldn't guess that at times, but it's the case. I enjoy driving, it's one of the few things that bring joy to my life. The fact at times that I can't even drive the car, it's just upsetting. I'd expect this kind of bull**** later in life, but not now in what's supposed to be "my prime". I could barely walk after driving today, even with wearing my brace. Not only does this keep me from driving the Celica, but it keeps me from being able to drive any other car that I'd want with a manual which is really the most upsetting aspect of it. Yes I know there are much more terrible things that could be wrong with me, and that millions of people have it worse. Also that in the grand scheme of things this is really trite and insignificant, it's still upsetting though. It's days like today that I hate the car, as with just about any other time I complain about it. Just like so many other things in life it's just there mocking me. If it makes everyone feel better I just won't bother anyone anymore and keep my problems to myself. I'll let everyone know once I've sold it and replaced it with some boring autotragic piece of ****.

have knee surgery, and be done with it. Swap your celi to an auto tranny.

really, if you are having knee problems, the last thing u need is a crampy car. You need easy ingress and egress out of a vehicle. and auto transmission. you need a automatic echo. small, reliable, and old folks liked it because it was easy to get in and out.

Today I ordered the HB4 (9006) Wire Harness that I am planning to cut and solder on the H1 connection for the Projectors.
I decided against cutting the OEM wiring, as my dad pointed out that if in the event that my Headlights got damaged/unusable, at least i would still have the stock connection to revert bacj to stock lights
