Today I bought this to fix the sub for my 8 speaker setup....since there are no hopes of finding a replacement. Hopefully it fits.
An 8" speaker from Toyota is about $220 brand new so that is definitely a no go.

Today I finally got my Honda CRX running. I have had this car for a year and a half (or close to it) and today was the first time I have ever driven it. Now to raise the price, sell it, and buy celica parts. lol!

Today I'm spending money.

I paid Smaay for the mount he made me for the 1MZ swap.

I also ordered my gasket set, which had I done yesterday, I would have had today, but now need to wait for.

I'll probably buy more stuff too.

I think the list of parts is slowly getting much smaller. When the mount shows up, she can be put in.

Changed the gear oil out with GL-4, will post on any miraculous changes that occur.

Received my intake hose from Mike and 194 LEDs for accent lights in the projectors. Picked up new spark plug wires and 1157NA bulbs for the clear turn signals I installed yesterday.

So today after my wife Melissa got home, we went to CVS to pick up her prescription and get a redbox movie. When we were walking to my car, I noticed something on my fender... the closer I got, it looked like a dent. I was like WTF! I immediately went from calm to raging hostility! I have had my car for a little more than a month and someone decided to hit and run my beautiful celica! So I noticed that CVS has video cameras. I called the police, and as the officer and I began to start talking about what happened, a woman gets out of her van and yells, "Officer, when you get done with them, I need to talk to you". The officer said, "Okay mam, be with you in a minute". She gets back in her van. I am borderline hostile with the officer, but explained what happened and told him that the manager inside CVS has seen the video and will not allow me to see it, but that he can go in and the manager will allow him to view it. While the officer is inside, another officer pulls up behind the woman in the van and goes inside to find his fellow officer. At this point the woman comes over to our car and asks what happened. We told her that someone did a hit and run and that the police were inside viewing the video footage. She tells us that someone has stolen one of her Walgreens bags from her car. Yes, we were in the CVS parking lot and someone stole her walgreens bag. She tells us that she is beginning to hate Huntsville and that people here do ****ty things. Melissa says to the woman... I hope they see who got into your van. They are looking at the footage now. She says, I hope so too, and walks to her van and gets back inside. A few minutes later, the police come out of CVS and talk with the woman for a few minutes. Then the officer that took our report comes over and says, "it appears that this woman who claims that someone stole something from her van is the person that hit your vehicle. How would you like to proceed"? I sit there for a second in dismay and say... Id like to file a police report and get her insurance information. After they filed the report or got their information, the woman comes over to us to exchange insurance information and apologizes saying that she had no idea that she was the person that hit my celica. I am calling bull****, but either way... I have her insurance and will be contacting them asap.

Luckily there was very minimal damage... basically the rubber from her fender smeared across my fender and part of my door, and the fender is dented in. I am thinking that the insurance should have no problem fixing it for me.

What a day... and we didnt even get a redbox movie... ugh!

^Ugggh, some people..... I've come to the conclusion if they don't drive a sports car or at the least a sports saloon, they have no business on our roads because they obviously don't care about driving. Had some dumb ass bitch in a minivan think that she cutting across the parking lot had right away over me taking the actual exit lane. Luckily I pay attention and stopped before she swiped the front of my car.

Anyhow, onto better news. Already the GL-4 has made a pretty significant change. Shifting from gear to gear is a lot smoother than what it was. No more grinding when downshifting to third either, hooray! The surprising part of it all being the oil that was drained out was still fairly new.

Today at work a coworker notify me that my car is leaking something from under the car. Didn't believe him until I went to look and sure enough. I saw green liquid.....my car pissed coolant all over the lot. So I refilled it and topped it off just enough to drive back home after work.....Any help and suggestions would be appreciated on my post.
