Here pretty much everything shuts down once the roads start to ice over or there's the first sight of snow, and then we use sand instead of salt. Yay South. tongue.gif

Well, won't have the use of my driver window for some time... Turns out the cable decided to give up on life and break, fray, and kink to where it can't be saved...

So you gave up on the SC400?

This celica was offered to me at a very low price from a good friend and since I regretted(and still do) selling my red one I jumped on it. Then a good friend of mine blew up his turbo 240 so I sold him the boat of a sc400 for cheapish.

Yea I need some in the back definitely. I am planning to get a new set of wheels with some lower offsets after the car is painted so unless I find a set really cheap(like I did for my red car) I will live with it.

Might start a build thread sometime soon for this car if people care enough.

Ferdi with cars at this power level the difference between automatic and 5 speed for performance or fun is not much. When I first got the car I was somewhat bummed out about it being an auto, but after 6 months I must say I prefer it over the manual. I will take the higher geared A140E over the s54 any day.

Manual ST>autotragic GT. wink.gif

Even trying to make it look like a manual, just grab a clutch pedal and glue it to the floorboard too. tongue.gif

I hate the auto in my car, its terrible. I'm looking to fix that though. Hopefully I'll find a manual trans soon and can swap it in there.

I've thought about putting a Beams in but, wiring and parts availability scare me.

The wiring is fairly straight forward for the BEAMS, I think some parts are shared with other engines sold in the U.S. Just have to do some cross referencing, or order in from Japan. tongue.gif
