I don't really know where to start or how to really ask about custom interior design, but am curious to know more about interior design; does anyone know anyone who can customize interior trims and new door panels, or side panels for our vehicle?

Like things they do to modified racing vehicles, with the OEM parts removed and replaced with carbon fiber door panels with some regular oem accessory like for our power window trims...etc...things like that...like this pic:

along the lines like that...i guess it is fiber glass...??

any hints would be nice because i like to rip out the interior and make new ones......biggrin.gif

Wow, thats ugly...looks like a shaved mammoth in there. Really though, I know there are quite a few topics around on interior "dress up". Stuff like painting the vinyl, and interior carpeting. As far as DIY carbon fiber....check this vid out ++++

Heya-now!! i kinda like it. I would like it more if it wasnt for that brown fuzzy looking stuff... maybe a gloss black to match the gloss green.

You guys quit bashing it; If he wants a lime-gorilla car, let him have it! As a fg artist, I would like to see the progress.

OP: yes it can be done. (well, anything can be done)

It can be fairly cheap as well, most people pay BIG BIG BIG dollars to have it done. It can be quite cheap If you're willing to learn the art, I'm always happy to take on another. Must warn you though, it's a LONG and tedious thing; replicating/modifying parts to that extent. and with custom add ins you'll be needing custom wiring. But that's the easy part if you know your circuitry. if you dont, then ask. biggrin.gif

what are your initial goals? and waht are your ultimate goals?

EDIT: also, what is your budget range/time period?
