I own a sw20 currently have a gen 3 swap, and I just purchase a caldina gen4 short block (headgasket came with it)from rpmgarage, plan on being 100 octane, this is a track car.how good is the short block going to hold, I know a few people say that the rods are thinner, same as beams (same part number), but I did see one make 394whp 22psi 100octane, with just bolt ons, who else on there celica has good succes with there 4th gen engine. here are my specs,http://rides.turbomagazine.com/ride/1013953/deseroner/1991/toyota/mr2/index.html
the reason I went with this block high compression, stronger block currently have gen3 97 block not the revised around the water pump. |
