GOOD PICSSS!
So for some reason my driver side low beam housing has a 1/2" hole in it, and after I did all the lighting on the interior in my car (check the thread) I thought about sliding some sort of LED or light into the hole?

I dont want to take off my FB to take out the headlight and do a "halo" thats why I have this new idea smile.gif

Anyway I bought Super Bright LED's from radioshack (plan to put 2 in each headlight, but just bough one for each low beam to see if I liked it)
It was a bit of a pain trying to get the wire through the headlight and through a very small hole, but totally worth it.

PICS-
(again I plan to get 2 per headlight so it will be a bit brighter, although it is bright enough my phone just cant take that good pics)
Give me some feedback-love-hate-ideas? thanks!
Still Daytime-

just be careful. penalties for driving around with aftermarket light modification is quite steep. When you have these turned on and car parked on public parking lot.. that is still considered as if your car was on the road so a cop in bad mood can spoil yours. Back when all of these lights first came out (around 2001 ish) a lot of people rode around till cops started cracking down on things like windshield sprinklers. I think the only work around was having all these a particular color and then it became a running light.

At some point I had like a 1000 bucks worth of street glo products. Those were the good old days of HIN, NOPI and other shows I went to.

If I see that car behind me at night in a lonely road, I'd probably piss my pants. tongue.gif

Looks nice. I'm not into that stuff but I gotta admit it gives the car a nice spice.

I pulled up behind my friend tonight (i've kept this project a secret) and he got off to the side of the road and let me pass him (he didnt know it was me lol) he said my car looked pissed off! haha!

Still deciding to do the high beams or not? what do you guys think? smile.gif

Yeah I tried to match it, make everything flow and look good smile.gif

But nooo I can't drive around where I live with any of the lights, I have them all on switches. More of a parking lot thing, or occasional bad-ass driving tongue.gif haha

I drilled into the high beam when I was doing this, and hit the metal part. There is no space between the metal and glass like the lows on the high beams. I'm sure I can just drill further in, but I dont have the lights now (had to order them)

The lights should be hear next week, Ill take a pics with the lows on and the LED's in the highs. (of course it wont be with HID's frown.gif but it'll give you a better idea)

Firstly, we're both in new york...I know in WNY the police really don't care about this kind of stuff, more drunk drivers and whatnot (With the exception of Amherst, they're on everything) unless you're driving with them on. I highly doubt they'll pull into your parking lot at work and write you a ticket for having decorative lighting on. They could, but I did it for a year between my sunfire and my Celica, and never had an issue.

Secondly, looks good.

Thirdly, I'm really starting to dislike you laugh.gif I'm in the process of wiring in 360` red LEDs into my JDM Projector accents...and you go and show off a similar idea first.

Also, if you don't have much use for your high beams, superbrightleds.com sells 9005 base LEDs that you can turn on to illuminate your high beam lenses. Just a thought...so you could have one or the other. Or both.

Here's a pic of mine when I tested them...had my fenders and bumper off as you can see:

thanks! and me too, I dont drive with them on though, too risky just to look cool lol. As long as they dont give me a hard time in like a public parking lot I should be good (lets hope)

Someone else should do this? would like to see diff colors smile.gif

I liked the pics, mine used to look like yours but blue. I only turned them on for car shows or gatherings when i was out of the car. Every once in a while a cop came me grief, but I showed him switching and said only show and off road use. They griped but left me alone.
