went home, change to my summer rims and tires. got to the pas. side front, and noticed a sh**t ton of greese everywhere. boot was ripped to shreds. hub was shot for a while now. and labor at the dealership is crazy! i would have done it myself but when you a mechanic you sometimes just dont want to work on your own car lol.

WOW!?!?! I thought you were going to UTI or something? How come you didn't repair? I just did my bearing and hub and got those for about the same price as you but $0 labor, the work is really easy...

One of the biggest problems with paying for labor is that they go by a manual. If the manual says a job will take 5 hours, you're going to pay for 5 hours of labor even if they get the job done in 1 hour. But if the job takes one second more than 5 hours, they won't hesitate to charge you for it. Replacing all of those things is pretty easy, but I don't blame you for taking it to the dealership. I'm at the point where I don't care to work on my project Celica but if it's my DD, I just take it to somebody and let them fix it just to get it over with.

i have been waiting to post this for awhile now.. MY CAR NO LONGER LOOKS LIKE A FISH/SNAKE/WEIRD ANIMAL. its finally a celica again!!!!
woooo!!
i went on a shopping spree with no money and actually got alot of stuff.

new parts.
*jdm tails!!
*yellow jdm fogs
*oem bumper
*oem fenders
*headlight rubbers
*new painted metalic black strut bar
*painted the rear under side of car gloss black
*drilled and slotted rotors+pads ( in the mail, should be here within the week)
*painted the wing raisers gloss black with a gloss clear coat.

note.. the bumper and fenders where painted by me in a hotel bathroom, so yes i know they dont match in some angles of the daylight but lets just say i think i took a few years off my life by painting them in a bathroom in my place. (oh well looks alot better than the weird front end that was on it!)
(pics of the parts i had replaced when my cv boot blew)
