FS: 95 GT Options

I wanted to do a swap but i honestly dont think i cant do it from reading on all the different celica forums the wiring would just be too crazy for me. So i figure id put it for sale.

95 Celica GT
Inside i did in red and black Full Interior ( Leather )
Took out my radio and sold it so no radio.
It has a 2.0L JDM Engine in it because my old 5s broke 2 days after i bought the car.
Paint is ok and body is in good condition theres only 1 dent in the car and its tiny in the front bumper.
Windows are tinted ( No idea what percent it was like that when i bought it )
I have my stock wheels that i painted black 2 have 80% tread left the other 2 are about 40%
And it comes with a set of 4 black tC rims all with bridgestone tires with good tread left i just took them off a few months ago to get them done in black and never put them back on.

Now dont run away when i say this.....

It only gets fire on one plug ( the number 3 one ) Could be a easy fix for someone who knows 6th gens i honestly dont know. I dont know anything about wiring at all so i dont want to mess it up. I've found a GSR that i want extremely bad and my friend said he would hold it for me until i could get rid of this car.

I will take pics of ANYTHING that you want if your interested. Just throw me a offer I dont care what it is im reasonable.

Car is located in Louisiana if you want it shipped you pay shipping and find a shipper ext.

As for 6GC I want to stay a member on here bc literally everyone on here is extremely helpful and friendly in everyway possible. This is prob the best forum Ive ever been on.












These are the only 2 spots on the car that have problems ( besides the engine )







Inside ( still has tools in it and is dirty but you can see everything )

The other is at my friends house but both are in good shape no rips anywhere and backseats are flawless and look brand new

Yeah, come on, don't give up on the car! I've read some of your posts where you've had trouble locating a 5S-FE for your car. In the last month, I've accidentally found not one, but two. Both at a very reasonable price too. I will be picking the first one up very soon, and the second one, I was only buying it as a spare. I could send it your way after I get it if you'd like. Or rather than me having to pay for the engine plus shipping then you having to pay for what I just paid plus more, I could put you in touch with the seller. It has the wiring harness. What's another few hundred into this car and potentially getting everything fixed going to hurt?

I really wanted to put in the 2n gen. Jim said he could get me one for 1800. Sounds good to me I have about 3K to work with the wiring is what scares me seriously. I just dint want to go through with it and then get in over my head and spend all that money for nothing. I really want a gen2 it's calling my name ! Lol but I'm not sure what exactly all I would need to do it. It's mainly electrical that scares me I can do mechanical but electrical just gives me chills.

Well, Dr. Tweak could do the wiring harness for you. Then you wouldn't have to worry about anything. It could just be plug and play. I'm not a mechanic or an expert by any means, but from what I've read of your problems, it really sounds to me like it's an electrical issue. Like the ECU isn't talking to the motor properly. Seems to me like if you eliminate the engine, wiring harness, and ECU that you have for it now and start fresh, you'll be golden. But don't take my advice because what I've just said is "spend a couple thousand dollars on a motor swap and hope that I'm right." But seriously, I hate to see you give up on the car.

dont get a second gen, a third gen is easier to do the wiring. look at the swap manny did.

oh, btw, if i did it, u can do it. I did not have any help whatsoever.

2nd gen is in my budget tho. And has the power I want. That's why I wanted it. The gen3 is nice I just don't have 2600$

Richee, I've been told by like 5 people a new harness and ecu would fix it, my problem the guy had a jDM 2.0 engine in it and was using the 5s harness and 5s computer... I have no idea how but it worked. I've searches and searched and still havnt found that harness or that computer.


Which brings me to either swapping or doing a 5s again, 5s would be ok but would still cost the same as it would to put in a 2nd gen.

I've been reading through 2 or 3 different forums trying to find what exactly I would need for the 2nd gen swap like what would need to be replaced what typenof clutch I would need ext. But I havnt found a exact list just bits and pieces.
