Whoooooooooo after tinkering around with it i finally got the driver side in correctly then the passenger side, and when it fell into place the other two are like right where they need to be.. i just need to wait for a friend to come out and push on it a little bit so i can get the bolts in the rear mount and i will be good to start re wiring and re assembling everything..
can anyone confirm that it will be easier for me to re wire then put the intake back on since the harness goes underneath the intake? thanks for all the help and support guys. -------------------- NOVAKx17

i believe it would be easier to wire up and then put the intake on, either Manny, Dustin or Steff mentioned something about that last night haha

Finally some long awaited progress...
new valve cover and gasket, new header and gasket and 02 sensor. and now i'm about to go back out and start the wiring process... wish me luck haha (:

i have the new 16 valve emblem thing, i just haven't put it back on yet. waiting til its almost 100 percent to put it back on

Does anyone have a write up of re wiring the 7a? i have like half of it done and plugged in but there are like 8 plugs or so i'm not sure of and can't find out where they go.... Blahhhhhhhhh so close.

i didn't think of it when i was pulling the engines out... i didn't label the bolts or anything either.. usually i have an extremely good memory but now that its all back in the car, i'm stumped from not being able to circle around the engine like i could before...
i'll get some pictures up in the morning, game plan for tomorrow is to get the axles back on and everything put back together so i can push it in the garage and finish it where its warm... its getting way too cold out in pa to be doing this stuff outside. -------------------- NOVAKx17

sooooooooooo after talking to manny, i found out i have to change the oil pump housing, pully, and then i can put in the crank sensor.. so far i got the old one off so i can put it on the motor thats in the car, its been challenging, but i got the oil pan almost off enough i can get the old parts off so i can slide the new ones in and start putting it back together... can't put up any pictures because i can't find my camera... so i'll just have to describe everything for now. hopefully by the end of the night i can have it in.... i'll give it my best, i don't want to stay up too late considering tomorrow is the first day of hunting season!.... because hunting comes first above anything in my family haha..
but back on subject, uhm. anyone have any tips for me to get the crank gear off? its realllllllllly on there, its not budging at all. i tried prying on it with 2 screwdrivers like it says in the book, but no luck. -------------------- NOVAKx17

Well, finally got the oil pan, on my next day off i'm going to get it all put back together with no more problems (:
and in the mean time since i'm so used to posting pictures, here is my other baby....  1979 z-28 350/4speed. hmmmm wonder what would win in a 1/4 mile..... hahahaha hopefully more updates soon -------------------- NOVAKx17
