Hey guys I'm thinking of replacing my ECT sensor and in the BGB it recommends draining the coolant. Now, I just had the thermostat and waterpump replaced and with that came a coolant drain and refill so I don't want to go through another drain/fill in a little over a month. Can I just replace the sensor without draining the coolant?

is the temp sensor on top of the coolant sensor bar? If so, you probably could, if you depressurized it.
