I still cant get over how nice that color looks in real life. Don't paint it black man, give that color another shot!

the black paint idea is just a thought, Im on the fence about it just like everything else I am going to do. (engine/trans, gt4 front, ssIII splitters, how I'm going to set my exhaust up) still haven't quite figured it all out yet wink.gif
oh, and as stated at the meet. your car = bowdown.gif

Road is too new, understeer followed by a touch of snap oversteer.

was a bit more than a touch for me! O.O

noob!

I was feeling the front end slide out from under me on throttle so I added a little braking to get the front bite which is when the back end wanted to snap somewhat which I steered into and then against and was all fine again. passenger stared at me with fear in her eyes, mouth agape. one of the few times I've had my tires squeal. that road needs atleast one winter on it to wash the surface, if the road is shiny then there is still too much tar/oil ontop it and the gravel is too tightly packed for the tire rubber to grab onto. when loaded a tire literally gets smooshed into the road surface at a microscopic level and grabs onto the road. shiny road is bad, I knew that as soon as I saw how still brand new it was. trust me, in a year or even 6-8 months it'll be WAY better in terms of grip and cornering. too new=bad, too old=bad, between new and old=perfect.

I would have loved to have made it out today. Unfortunately, it just wasn't in the cards for me. Pics look good, sounds like everyone had a great time! Although we won't be able to go to Starved Rock or do any kind of BBQ, it might be good to meet up at some point this winter and get some dinner. Seems like the vast majority of people are up north, so I can make the drive and meet you guys up there.

Yea, it looks like you guys had a good time! Unfortunately, I had some last minute issues come up and I had to stay up north.

Freek- I'll be up in Schaumburg for most of the day today, if you want to meet up for a quick second... 773.230.4449
