Hi,

Has anyone tried installing cams with the same specs, if not the same brand?

I currently contemplating on these but my hangup is that I might loose bottom end power. It's fine with me to have most of the power increase at mid to high rpms as long as it will not decrease the power and torque at low rpms.

My mechanic told me that he could just adjust the camgears just in case I loss bottom end power.

Please share your experiences and your take on this.

Thanks a lot!

yes you can retain some of your low end by degreeing the cams.

Thanks Smaay. But what do you mean by "some of your low end"? Are you referring to rpms a little higher than idle?
