So a few weeks ago i watched a friend with a lowered civic hobble home on a donut and im gonna be honest it scared the crap out of me thinking that that could happen to me, so im going to prevent it.
i have this idea in my head of how exactly to put a full size spare in my trunk in place of the donut. thinking about pulling the piece of wood in the hatch, cutting a hole in the middle of it where the tire will go and then getting some fiberglass and resin to mold it around the tire as well as reinforcing the bottom of the board so it would still have no issues supporting weight of objects in the trunk. has anyone done this before but i was curious to if anyone had any thoughts or ideas of how to make this better, all input is welcome -------------------- 1996 Toyota Celica Project Mean Green
