hi, I am going to take my old hatch off, I saw some cables inside the 3rd brake light, just wondering how can I remove the old hatch and put the other one on my car,

any wiring i need to be careful?

there is a plug back there and a couple up where the hatch bolts to the car.
you'll also have to unplug the hose for the rear window washer.

x2, and BE VERY VERY VERY VERRRRRY careful when unbolting the hatch shocks,

1. the bolt on attatchment sometimes breaks

2. the hatch is HELLA HEAVY and will bonk you if youre not careful once you remove one of the struts... have a friend or two help.

no need to modify anything! you will have to remove the headliner, but just be careful when pulling the clips off in the back. After you get the clips off (three of them) the rest of it is held on my velcro
