Ok I got DDM 6k hids a while ago and I don't know if its just my bulbs but their is a very very very tiny color difference between the two. If I look at my left one from an angle, it looks bluer than my right one.
Not that noticable though and Im happy. My friend got a pair of 3k yellows though and the difference between the two is more visible. I ordered a yellow for myself and waiting for it to arive so I can compare. But basically you get what you pay for. They definitely won't beat OEM bulbs. |

^^^ That. As I said before, my 4,500k DDM kit (all three sets of bulbs I've had) have been comparable to other 6,000k kits I've seen, so they're a bit too blue for my liking. But for the money, the DDM kit is by far the best bargain. Yes, other kits have had certain success here and there, but the DDM kit is consistently rated higher than the others and has a better warranty.

So the lexus ballast have to be fitted to aftermarket 35w bulbs using an adapter to work? I'm thinking about going this route.

I'm also using the DDM Kit, and don't have any problems at all.
If your just sick of your colour, you can just get 5000k coloured bulbs off ebay. I Had them for a while, but the light quality is no where as good as HID Kits. Thinking about getting the coloured bulbs for my highs as they are still yellow.. don't use them enough for another set of HID's -------------------- |
