Hi All!! Here are the pictures of the car that my brother gave me! Please give some suggestions of what i should do with it? i want to make the car clean as clean and slick as possible because i am more about the looks than the speed as of right now! i am planning on replacing the front bumper... because it is to low can damaged on some parts... I will replace the side fender also if i have to if the side fenders does not look nice with the new Bumpers!!! smile.gif Thanks for looking through the pictures !!!

tips from a vert owner. the body kit not my style.

Go OEM bumper, rear bumper, then get oem splitters (add ons to the bumpers on front and back)

Remove that wing and you can either put a 2 post oem, or leave it wingless..

rims will look nice with centercaps.

Fenders are outdated, but if you like the, keep em.. Otherwise since fiber glass, cut fill and paste those vents..

All this is what i think and not necessarily what you sould do.. A clean oem look is nice and does not call the police...

Honestly I think its sexy. Its not the same as everyone else's which is awesome. Different is better IMO.

Those are good tips, but it looks like the rear bumper is molded onto the car.

Something I would add, is if you did go the route of OEM front bumper and rear bumper with splitters, I would also go with OEM sideskirts as well.

But hey, it's not like I have OEM parts on my vert either, so w.e you like is up to you smile.gif.

When you replace that bumper you should drain your passenger high beam and reseal it. there are instructions on here about opening the headlights.

Hey Thanks a lot for all of your suggestion !! they are Great ideas... As for the Head lights on the left side.. a church member of mine already drained the headlights but he said he cannot remove the residue, so the yellowish/brown stain cannot be removed sadly frown.gif So i was planning on buying a a replacement head lights...As for the "OEM" parts.. since i am like a an oooooober noob and still new to all of these terminology.. would you please explain to me what does "OEM" mean and give me examples and where/who i can get the pats from? smile.gif Thanks a lot you guys!!!

Sadly..... frown.gif the rear bumper is molded to the car... which i do not understand why my brother did that... (total big mistake on his end) I was debating whether to clean up the car a little bit and then sale it... because if i am correct... If the rear bumper cracks... I am basically screwed... As of going for "OEM" front bumper and side skirts... I have the Original front bumper.. but in my opinion it looks ugly.. I to stand out and look fast smile.gif because so far I am the only Celica in Wichita that is different.. while everyone else just abuses their celicas frown.gif I love this car so much!!! My First car man.

You should definitely get the oem fenders because they won't crack like that. If you like the front and rear bumpers, just fix them up!
As for the headlights, look in the stickies for how to remove the glass and clean the yellowish color out of it. It may seem hard, but it's a very easy process.

Hey thanks for the Tip smile.gif I would like to get New fenders... But my left fender is the only one that is damaged... How Much would OEM fenders be? I Kind of want to get rid of the front bumper... or get rid of the bottom lip but i am afraid of not knowing how well it would look like without it smile.gif do you have any suggestions about front bumpers that will look nice with the back bumper that i have ?

If ur gonna go with OEM fenders go with the JDM style. The side marker light is located closer to the doors and look much cleaner if u ask me. Check ebay. Search 94-99 Celica and for more JDM options search st205.

OEM=Original Equipment from Manufacturer (stock parts)
JDM=Japan Domestic Market
USDM= United States Domestic Market
ST205=All wheel drive version of the celica not released in the states, GT-four is the name of it.
FMIC=Front Mount intercooler.

Those are some pretty common abreviations around here.

Convertible fenders are different from the coupe and hatchback fenders. I apologize if I did not make that clear in my last post.

Convertible fenders are different from the coupe and hatchback fenders. I apologize if I did not make that clear in my last post.

Might have to start a new thread, lol How do u figure they're different? Just wonderin cuz the fenders on my Celi I got off a vert

the bottom corner near the door on a vert is much different than a coupe or a hatchback due to the extra structual braceing that was done, from what i have read a standard fender will work but will have to be modified to accomidate the braceing

Hey so does that apply to the Hood and bumper also? And How are you sure about the Fenders redface.gif i would like to know!! smile.gif I was told to keep the Fenders.. Because the Left Fender is just slightly damaged... While the Bumper paint is cracking .. while the lip was fixed 2 times already.. and i was wanting to maybe find a different or smaller lip if possible?

Ok then, well back to OP's thread, I say if ur gonna go OEM, go with all JDM parts. Tho more expensive, its looks smoother n cleaner.
