in the december 03 issue of GRM (grassroots motorsports) magazine, theres a 4 page article continuing their buildup of a 94 Celica ST for stock autocross class. its nice to see the 6gc get some decent press!

Hey, so far this is a really good article. Coomer, maybe we could find a way to post this article here on the site as a reference to tuning the car for an idea for people.

theyre considering selling it, too bad im broke... that engine after the rebuild is CALEEEEEN.

I've talked to Per Schroeder several times (the guy that owns the car and is writing the article). He is very meticulous and I'm sure the car would be a great buy. I'm not convinced that its still competitive in stock tho. It was definitely the hot ticket a few years back, but ever since the reclass, everything has changed.

per? didnt he used to post on C.net?? that name sounds really familiar, actually i think i bought something from him a while back. as a matter of fact i did, i got my TRD springs through him (just checked my OLD money order stubs from the old 6gc project haha). awesome, ya i can attest per is a really good guy, he was really helpful with the springs and everything. man if i had the money that car would be mine!!
