Hey guys/gals, wondering if any of you have had this problem. GenII 3s swap is burning oil intermittently, can't be the rings because it's sporadic not constant. Seems as if the oil seals in the turbo have gone wonky. Called Toyota about the seals and they were no helP of course. Anybody know the part numbers for these? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
So originally the above description was my initial problem. My question now is... ...is it worth it to purchase a ct26 50 trim, or just a ct 20b? Now I am new to the forced induction game and know the general working of said beastie. That in mind my second round of questions as I will be flowing more air into and out of said (ct26 50 trim) turbo, my injector size should correlate correct? Now what size injectors? IS the power output going to be greater than or equivalent to a ct 20 b? Will the injector sizing be the same? (as the injectors used for the 20b) The option of porting is also available for a measley 75$, what porting do they speak of? (Gasket porting of the manifold flange?) Any info that you guys can offer would be greatly appreciated, I tried searching the topic but the parameters for the search require larger wording than CT-26 50 trim so no such luck. The company that makes said goodie is : http://store.forcedperformance.net/merchan...;Category_Code= Sorry for the copy and paste link I suck at this iNterWEb thing LOL. Thanks again.
