Personally Im all for this project because its something different n creative. Wether its wide body, head/tail light conversons, or body kit conversions. If its different then go for. Tho the Celica is a beautiful car, some creativity wouldnt hurt. Just the ideas that someone can put into action is not only amazing but also motivational in a sense.

Also making some minor changes to the vent on the fender as well. hoping to have the front done by friday if all goes well then the rear. Even cut the lip in half wher the bumper meets the fender so i can take off the front if needed

delete the side marker, it'll ruin the whole flow of the wide body kit

ok I have to say. Though I'm all supportive about doing a wide kit and its brave what you're doing but that fender vet..... baaaad idea.
The idea of a fender vent is to release air not to suck it in. As you drive at a high speed the air pressure increases from air ramming into from the front, along the sides and being trapped in the fenders. This is just going to make it worse. |

I like ur fender vents man, always have lol. Maybe ill try it out as well.
Im ordering the supra rear friday finally, had the tails for like 2 weeks. Was your supra rear a 3 piece, or did you just buy the bumper and add on to it? (thanks again, if you could show me which one you bought thatd help me out a ton) -------------------- |

Way swap is gonna be a pain in the ass seems like a good trade but do you plan on rebuilding the 2jz and put it in a car like a supra or just rebuild and sell it? but then again in my eyes a 2jz has more potential then the skyline engine(just my point of view dont mean to offend any skyline fans) |

I do feel the same way i think the 2j engine might offer more in way of potential the plan was to tear apart the 2j an rebuild the engine all aftermarket but the kicker here is the skyline engine hes offering is fully built already with greddy turbo 's plus he ows me like 350 dollars so iether way i come out ahead

Keep this updated, im curious to see how you pull this off. Props to you for going along with your own idea and not letting others shape your car for you. If you do a good job im positive this **** will look sick. Keep it up.

well if you put it that way if hes willing to trade a fully built skyline engine for a stock 2jz the guy must have really deep pockets to built the 2jz engine and start from scrap or he just a 2jz fan whos willing to trade anything to get that engine besides if you feel like youll come out winning then go ahead but remember a 2jz whit stock internal puts out great power if you go whit aftermarket parts whit it youll end up getting more in return whit the 2jz then the skyline motor would give just my 2 cents and good luck whit it and on your wide body kit built cant wait till its finish
