sorry I mean Cone front as Whiteline never made a front. MERLIN's four has a compleatly different front suspension made up though and its not an option for many of us. Selby did make a front. And selby was owned by whiteline. But selby shut down a while back. -------------------- |

sorry I mean Cone front as Whiteline never made a front. MERLIN's four has a compleatly different front suspension made up though and its not an option for many of us. Understood good sir.....but, while they may use a completly differerent setup than us st202/205/204 folks, they do offer us with a worthwhile example of how (in general) our chassis handles to suspension changes. Ill be honest, since i have added the C-one-front/whiteline-rear, i have noticed two things...turn in my front end has become greatly sharper when entering a turn......i can easily take corners alot harder now than i ever had before....excuse my stupidity when explaining this btw....also, with the rear, ive noticed i tend to be a bit "tail happy" when it comes to my gravel/dirt runs, and even in the corners(on the midlde setting with my coils on their hardest)...unless i adjust my coilover dampning (i havent really adjusted the whiteline yet) my tail end tends to swing out alot more than before.... Anywho, the simple point im trying to make, is that sway bars DO add sometime a beneficial or negative effect....mostly depending on how you tune your suspesion...if it wasnt for my coilovers, i really wouldnt want to think of the LESS options i would have to FINE tune my current setup however i see fit!! I just ordered a Ksport GT PRO AR (asphault rally) suspension and asked it to be for a 1400 kilo car that is aggressively driven so that they may valve it correctly. I will helmet cam how it handles in the city once I get it installed and note I have no anti roll bar I wonder if the suspension will cope being as hard as I asked it to be.
