Well, I'm now at 165k miles and I think its about time I replace my original timing belt. So I figured i'm going to change my Power Steering, Alternator, and AC belt as well.
Using Azian's guide here http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=57712 What else should I change? Do I need the two tensioners? Should I change the water pump since I'll already be down that far? Do I need to change anything else while I'm in there? So all I need is 1 T belt, 1 PS/alt belt, 1 AC belt, and if I do the water pump, then 1 water pump, 1 thermostat, and 1 thermostat gasket as well? Again, there's nothing wrong with the car, nothing is acting up or leaking or anything like that, but I just decided that my game of chicken with the timing belt is just about over and I'd rather not get stuck on the side of the road. -------------------- '99 Celica GT - Sold
