I noticed today that the Tututututu I was hearing wasn't really my BOV going off but actually some sort of compressor surge and that the BOV doesnt open at all...

The rear of the SSQV...Connects to Vacuum line coming from the TB or does it connect to that little plug that comes out the back of the Watercooler?

This isnt my cars engine bay its only for reference as to where things should be connected.

and is it possible my SSQV got stuck some how? do I just flush it with some oil and thinner or what?

thats not an ssqv in that pic?

u know the little port next to the idle port under the charge cooler (not connected to it)? should be connected there

ssqv bov needs a manifold feed with vac, u probably plugged into a pre-throttle body feed so u only got boost no vac

thats not a rusty turbo, thats whats the turbo connects too, u see the coupler that connects to the TMIC and the silver thing under the coupler? thats the turbo and that isnt a fake SSQV thats the "Black Limited Edition" SSQV, i have one on my setup, and that vaccum line is correct too.

i think he was talking about the exhaust housing and yes it is rusty but that doesnt mean anything when it comes to the BOV working.

Yeah the hot side has a small coat of rust on it mostly from sitting on its ass for 6 months...the mess with the long blue hose was me trying to figure out where stuff had to go...that goes to my Electronic boost controller and the AEM progressive water injection module...

The little thingamabob in the SSQV moves back with no difficulties...I cant understand why i keep hearing the Tututututu from the air intake and the BOV not moving... I will wash the BOV with some carb cleaner and buy a new hose to it and clean up some of the vac lines see what happens from there...

I ruined the outside of the SSQV with the ****ty ass snap ring from hell why the $#@@ cant they assemble it with the flange from factory how hard is that???

disconnect the vac line going to the bov. with the car running see if you feel strong suction from that disconnected vac line. if not, try another source for vacuum.

I'd make sure it's sitting correctly in the flange. I have the same issue my new hks bov so I'm curious what your solve is. I currently have what I think is a knock off hks bov that works just fine, but I'm thinking the flange is what's causing the new one to not work properly.

I ordered a new SSQV, incase I bust this one up cuz I tried a knock off screw adjustable SSQV and it worked fine on my car so its definitely the SSQV gona fill it with carb cleaner, oil or whatever the hell it needs to get fixed...
