Runs crappy on cold starts till warm, starts and dies and doesn't take gas until 10 seconds of touching Options

recently, at mornings, I start and it would just run fine at first for first 5 seconds then start to sputter and sound like its going to die
, after a few revs it would normally act much better, and sometimes, after starting it would shut right back off, then fire up nicely on the next start immediately after and run fine. What could the problem be? oh and its a ST205 pretty much stock
