![]() "who is your daddy and what does he do" but seriously, I dont exactly understand what this is for... I had routed a tube connecting it to the intake pipe, but, when I would let the car idle to warm up, and it eventually did, I would get a large plume of smoke coming out from the back... now if I DON'T have it routed like that and leave it off, I never have this smoking problem. I have noticed oil in it, and in the tube, and in the intake and on the turbo turbines and on the entrance side of the tmic. so I dont know what could cause this or how to fix it. thanks for the help in advance! It's a catch can. It should have a small hose on the drivers side that routes to the back of the motor, the larger hose goes to the intake, pre turbo.

it might spit a little bit. I'd check all the lines and see if there is a backup in the lines, but otherwise you should probably route a hose from the end that doesn't have a hose to your intake.
