i have the affinity LH 30's, they are awesome tires

those are really good tires for the money, but the potenza 950 or the 730 is better, but they cost a little more too. wink.gif

I have been looking at the Continental Conti extremecontact, looks like a real decent tire and they have it in a v-rated 205-55-15 around 90-100 each.

My advice:

Potenza S02 or SO3 if you could afford them.

Toyo Proxes T1-S. Excellent tire, also handles really well in the wet. Toyo is having a promotion right now, cheap tires. I'm not sure about US, but in Toronto the tires are going for like 40% off retail.

I just bought Kumhos ecsta supra 712 from tiretrends.com for my 16" 7g alloy wheels - at 85$/tire for 205-50zr16 you cant go wrong. They look very good. They stick to the road dry/wet. They rock.

Tirerack doesn't sell every brand, such as Cooper tires.

I have seriously been thinking about some Continental ContiExtremeContacts,

Continental Tires

they do come in the 205-55-15 V-rated, but not in the 16 inch for my GTS wheels,,,

and if you have a GT, especially with the sport suspension package, anything less than a V-rated tire handles like crap. I tried it on mine, some S-rated 225-50-15's, felt like I was driving on under-inflated snow tires,

Cooper makes tires for quite a few different companys. A lot of the house brands like the futura at Pep Boys are made by Cooper,,,

Check out this list of names Cooper manufactures:

Cooper tire list

Unfortunately, this is from some lawsuit, I doubt they are any worse than any other maker...I have had problems with all brands of tires.
