17x8 is a fantastic choice, I'd love a set myself. RPF-1 would be my choice.
+1 on more insight after a 2nd-to-3rd gen conversion. VB, I think it is moreso that Manny probably tired a little of the 6GC game, I presume. Understandable. -------------------- '97 ST \ Eibach \ KYB \ Kenwood \ Alpine \ Cusco \ OEM+ [sold 10/18]

When you're the best there is, it gets boring sometimes. Sad but true. When you've done every motor swap in the book, and you've got it down to a science, and the envelope has already been pushed, I understand wanting a new challenge. About the only thing you have left to do is full on awd, and even then, screwing with a subaru might be easier.... Don't short yourself though man, the information that you alone have provided to this community is astounding, and you should be proud of all the awesome custom work you've done and all of the noobs you've owned because of your experience.
On a side note, I'm really interested in seeing if there is any discernible driving difference between the motors given how similar they are to one another. -------------------- ![]() |
