You can't fix THIS:

*edit* That's NOT, I repeat NOT, a hole in the splitter. It's just deep into the fiberglass. My HTC Rezound was used for these pics, and I couldn't control the flash well enough to get a real clear shot of the damage.

This is why the splitters have been off the front of the car. This one took a hit at some point while I was gone last year, or while putting it on the trailer to move it from IL to PA......I'm not exactly sure but I have my suspicions. But, in any case, the shop that did my paint, the owner retired, and the person I've talked with has no clue this was a custom mix, and quoted me at like $550 to paint just these two pieces (which is stupid expensive) with using some off the shelf paint he has. No dice for me, so I'm going to have to try to fix on my own.

The plan is to find the closest match I can, fill in the recess, paint, and clear........and hope it's close. The good news is that the defect is on the bottom of the splitter at least, but you can still see it from the front.

This is why I do NOT like daily driving this car.

So I was in an Ollies tonight, and they had a ton of clearance auto paint. I found almost a spot on match.....its only missing the orange when the light is at the right angle. Close enough to do the job where it needs fixing.....I'm quite pleased. More to come.

go to a local auto paint chop or a retailer of paint for car (not canadian tire lol) and get your piece whit u, they gonna copy the color and create the same one, and selling you in a can so you can do the job yourself, its about 25$
