Well I had 6 of 8 bolts snap on my 5sfe and there ugly

dude! i hate to tell you, but you need to replace that crankshaft. i wouldnt trust it to be true looking like that. how the hell did that happen?

Lol I'm gonna put bolts back in it and I only paid 1000$ for the car.
if the motor blows I'll probably put a 3mz in as a swap.
Ya it looks bad but a new crank is gonna be close to the cost of the car

That is really unfortunate, that would have went bang in a big way surely?

Can you knock them out with a centre punch? Perhaps using some loctite freeze release too?

an easy out will work just fine. just drill a small hole into them and the easy out will do the rest.

Hes got all but one out so far then were going to put the flywheel an everything back in with new toyota bolts
An I think they snapped off due to being over torqued when installed

WOW.. holy isht!!!! yeah. you can see that the bolts in the pic have a sort of "twist" to the remaining metal.. ARP has replacment bolts for not to much... just a suggestion..

Dealer had bolts for 12$ and t got 3 bolts out with my fingers.
like Kurt said all but one and there not in tight just in deep were you can get anything on them to twist.

But yea gives me a chance to clean everything like I should have done in the first place lol..
