hello every one i was wondering if a altezza 3age beam 6 speed m/t ecu would be compatiable to the red top beam engine both same year 1998 the red top beam engine has a 5 speed tranny i have the red top beam and i am searching for the ecu or compatiability one thanks

No, it won't work. You can use any Redtop ECU, auto or manual, or a Greytop ECU. However, the ECU's are very difficult to find. I think there might be one on the BEAMS Owners Group right now.

I always thought about this, especially if you were to put the blacktop internals on the redtop engine.
