I finally got my car back on the road after getting a new windshield put in, now i want to get the cruise control fixed. All i know is when i press the cruise button, the light on the gauge does not light up, and the cruise does work. How would i go about tracking down the problem?

You say the cruise "does" work, but the light on the instrument cluster doesnt come on? If thats the case then you may want to pull the instrument cluster out and see if the bulb is burnt out. Pull the plastic piece around the igniton and dimmer switch below the instrument cluster out and remove the screws behind this dash peice as well as the two screws in the plastic peice above the gauges to gain acces to the screws holding in the instrument cluster assembly. The bulbs can be removed through the small caps on the backside that hold them in if my memory is correct. |
