Ok, so I finally have some time to post this question up!
So my water pump was being noisy. I decided to just purchase the bearings and replace them with the old ones. I got a friend to do this for me and it went well. However, when I turned on the car, It had CEL which happened to be code 54. I checked the fluids and its topped up all the way. The pump IS working since I can see the coolant being moved around and I can put my hand over the IC after a hard drive. From what I read, the CEL affects power performance. I can notice the difference when the code disappears SOMETIMES. It just pulls so much harder. So my question is this: I want to bridge the coolant sensor. But I don't know how ;/. ![]() ![]() The pictures show the sensor and where to bridge. I understand that, But HOW do I bridge and will I need an extra wire to do it or something? If there are better pics of the sensor that is bridged up close that would be awesome. I have a friend willing to do it, but he says I should ask you guys for pictures and information since he barely deals with WTA. How does bridging work? Any help would be appreciated Cheers, Sal -------------------- ST205 WRC
