No replacement for displacement.
Any who, being it's a ST I'd just get another 7A-FE for it and call it a day. I have a ST, and once I want to do a V6 swap I'm just going to go out and find a GT with a blown motor. Probably would be cheaper, and save my health a little more. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

Aluminum is superior to steel for building engines because
it is stiffer, transfers heat better and it weighs half as much as steel. All aluminum engines, at least 99.9% of them, have steel sleeves or jugs in them because aluminum doesnt stand up to piston rings scraping back and forth like steel does. I would take aluminum over steel anyday, it just costs alot more. At the scrap yard steel is $25 a ton while aluminum is 30¢ a pound. Do the math |
