Born again celica, First car Options

Hello fellow celica riders! Let me introduce myself a little. Let's just say my name is Cheech and that I smoke pot recreationally, but boy do I love my celica. When I was 16 my father gave me my first car, a 1994 celica sx hatchback. She was bright red and I fell in love at the first turn of the ignition. Needless to say I went everywhere with that car and I did minor things to the car considering my age. I had to let her go because I got 3 speeding tickets in her within the first couple months of me having my license. She was my first celica, my first love.

I'm now into my second year of college and on my own. The beater of a car (won't even mention model or make) I had wouldn't pass emissions tests so I had to get rid of it and get a new car. My father being a straight G knows how much I love these cars so he started doing some searching. We found a 1995 gt and went to see it. I ended up buying it with my own tax return money, since the chick who owned it needed money for rent and school stuff. I drove it home after signing the title in my name. My very first car, bought with my own cash. BUT WAIT IT GETS BETTER!

My dad loves cars more than I do and so he buys ands sells them as a side job but it's more play for him. Anyways he has his own connects such as painters/mechanics and whatnot. The celica was a little rusty when I got her, no wonder I paid so little. The paint was coming off the hood and many other parts. She had a couple dings and a headlight was broke. My dad had a mechanic over our house when we pulled up from buying her. Anyways to make this short, my dad asked his guy how much he'd charge for a full paint job and to fix up the dings. The mechanic looks at my car that wouldn't pass the ET test and says he'd take the car and call it an even deal.

It took a couple weeks but I pretty much have a brand new stock car. I'll post pics of the before and after later since I can't do it from my phone. Just thought I'd share a story with you guys. Stay high
