Without trying to sound to frustrated. How the hell do you release the tension on the timing belt on a 3s-ge? (3rd gen non BEAMS). Pictures would be help full. I just can't seem to figure it out.

Without trying to sound to frustrated. How the hell do you release the tension on the timing belt on a 3s-ge? (3rd gen non BEAMS). Pictures would be help full. I just can't seem to figure it out. I just took off the idle pully which is underneath the tensioner. The belt will be loose then. |

well that helps with taking it off, but what about when I go to put the new one on?

From what I understand the belt isn't tight til after it rotates.
