I have the st205 calipers, but mine didn't come with shims (so i guess i need to buy these).
I'm using the Cadillac Catera rotors. I have a set of st205 brake lines, but i don't see how they will effectively bolt to the strut. The 205 also has the top of the line screwed to the part that comes out of the frame, but my 204's line doesn't do this. I have purchased 3mm spacers for the back of the rotors between rotor and hub. My questions: are you guys using zip ties to hold on the 205 lines and ignoring the factory bolt hole positions on the 205 lines? is there a stainless steel brake line kit that is long enough that i can purchase for my 204 that will be long enough? Do I need to fabricate a pad spacer since the cadillac rotors aren't as thick as the 205's rotor, or will I be ok without? Am I missing anything else? I just don't want to get these on and have any safety issues. I'd really appreciate your help and insight. -------------------- ![]() |
