originally i made this post in the suspension section but didnt get the responses i was looking for. so please dont blast for double posting.

I'm looking to find out if anyone can tell me if there are any major differences (other than gear ratios and number of gears) between the A245E trans that comes in the 7th gen corolla with the 7a and the A246E that comes in the Celica St with the 7a.

i have recently done some work to the wifes car (93 Corolla LE 7a) and it has why i feel is to much power for the stock suspension. So i want to upgrade to the stiffer suspension out of our Celicas as well as convert to our 5 lug set up. I'm planning to change the knuckles out and upgrade to 4 wheel disc brakes and toss my stock GT 15's on it. when i buy my new 17's

any info you guys can give me would be a great help.
right now I'm in the planning stages of this project and trying to gauge what all ill be looking at as far as custom work will go. but i want to do this right so my wife and kid will be safe driving in it

Thanks
